Delivering a global icon to hungry people down under

Founded in 2013, Deliveroo started as a British company and went on to operate in Europe, the UAE and Asia. We had a lot to do with their successful launch in Australia.

The Challenge: Launching their brand in Australia before big-hitters like Uber Eats entered the scene. To do this, they needed a powerful online presence with enough cut-through to capture the attention of foodies in a market saturated with options.

The Solution: Milkman developed a strategic partnership campaign that saw restaurants promote Deliveroo on their socials. With content creation, influencer marketing, events, paid advertising and more, Deliveroo launched with over 1,000 partnered restaurants — becoming the household name we know today.

Results: A launch with significant hype across local rollouts, seeing:

  • 57% growth in market share in 2016
  • 8x growth of its nearest competitor
  • 8,200,000 people reached
